This design depicts the Hawai'ian Tribal Symbol of Lōkahi. The top triangle representing the Spiritual world, the left bottom triangle representing the Human world and the right bottom triangle representing Mother Nature. All are neccessary together to have balance in life. The center inverted triangle created out of the other three represents birth, a child. The Lōkahi simultaneously respresents the balance of good (center triangle) and evil (outter 3 triangles) or light and darkness. There are many meanings to Lōkahi and it is an important symbol for the times we are enduring here on Maui right now. We humbly thank you for wearing this shirt as a symbol of respect, love and support to Kāko'o (uplift) our Lāhainā people during this long journey.
